At Path-P Diagnostic Pathologists, we’re more than just a clinical laboratory – we are committed to excellence. Owned by Drs Nemukongwe & Partners Inc the entity is managed entirely by black female professionals, who are dedicated to providing convenient, high-quality pathology solutions tailored to the unique needs of the Sub-Saharan population.

 

Our primary objective is clear: to promote and facilitate the adoption of state-of-the-art diagnostic tests across both public and private healthcare sectors. But we don’t stop there. Through our secondary objective, we’re actively engaged in advancing clinical research and providing essential training for laboratory professionals.

Meet our leader

Dr. MB Nemukongwe

A dynamic and goal-driven histopathologist with extensive experience in the field. Holding a master’s degree in Anatomical Pathology, she currently serves as a part-time Senior Lecturer at University of Limpopo. Dr. Nemukongwe’s expertise extends to patient care and management, demonstrated through her involvement in the Sefako-Makgatho Lymphoma working group, dedicated to improving diagnosis and management for patients with hematological malignancies.

 

In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Nemukongwe has excelled in leadership and management positions, including acting as the head of department for the SMU Anatomical Pathology unit. Her leadership contributed to departmental growth and the attraction of new academics. She is also involved in academic committees and serves as a non-executive board member of the Sechaba research center, focusing on ethical and cost-effective research for the local community.

 

As the founding director of Pulse Path Solutions, Dr. Nemukongwe is committed to training medical students and professionals for the evolving field of medicine. The company also emphasizes awareness programs for women’s health issues, particularly timely diagnosis and management of breast and cervical cancer.

 

Dr. Nemukongwe’s passion for teaching and training is evident through her establishment of mentoring programs and student support groups for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She continues to contribute to medical education as a part-time lecturer at the University of Limpopo, engaging in the training of students at various levels. Additionally, she serves as a technical expert at the Council of Medical Schemes, providing advisory support on drafting PMB policies.
